About

Yuxuan is a London-based user experience researcher and transplant from Singapore. She has worked in various positions, including heading a small UX team at a beauty marketplace start-up and going solo as a one-man UX team at a B2B fintech machine-learning software company. Her last role was working as a senior UX researcher for a cybersecurity application company headquartered in the Bay Area. No challenge is too technical or difficult for her - Yuxuan’s skillset lies primarily in research, problem-solving and big-picture thinking, and she has adapted readily to all manner of complex product environments.

More recently, Yuxuan submitted her dissertation and completed a Master’s in Social Research, employing a variety of research methods to support her project, including the use of Python and big data analysis to find patterns in social media data. Her core skills, however, lie in qualitative approaches such as interviews and usability testing, where she is adept at drawing out insights to inform product strategy at all levels of development.

In her free time, she enjoys long walks in a museum and whispering to her house plants.
